Bruceploitation Filmleri: Bruce Lee’nin 1973 yılında zamansız ölümünden sonra ortaya çıkmış bir İstismar sineması alt türüdür. Bruce Lee filmleriyle parlayan Hong-Kong aksiyon sineması Enter the Dragon filminin dünya çapında iyi gişe yapmasından da etkilenerek Bruce Lee’ye benzer sahne adlarıyla (Bruce Li, Bruce Le gibi) birçok kung-fu ustası oyuncuyu piyasaya sürer.

Bruce Lee kuşkusuz istismar sinemasının en büyük ikonlarından biri. Lee’nin ölümünden sonra Asya’daki bazı film şirketleri Enter the Dragon ve Fist of Fury filmlerinin devamı niteliğinde filmler çekip Bruce Lee klonlarını bu filmlerle ilk kez izleyici karşısına çıkardı. Hatta 70’lerin ortalarında çekilen birçok kung-fu filminde Bruce Lee oynamadığı halde bir pazarlama taktiği olarak Bruce Lee oynuyormuş gibi reklamı yapıldı.

Bu dönem çekilen filmleri üç türde ele almak mümkün. Bunlardan ilki Bruce Lee hayattayken oynamış olduğu filmlerin devamı niteliğindeki filmler; Re-enter the Dragon, Enter Two Dragons, Return of Bruce, Enter Another Dragon, Return of the Fists of Fury ve Enter the Game of Death gibi. Diğeri ise Bruce Lee’nin bir efsane olduğunu anlatan ve onun biyogrofisi niteliğindeki Bruceploitation filmlerdi. Bu filmler ise Exit the Dragon, Enter the Tiger, My Name Called Bruce ve Bruce’s Fist of Vengeance. Ve son olarak üçüncü türdeki filmler ise çılgın hikayelere sahip filmlerdi. The Clones of Bruce Lee filminde çılgın bilim adamları tarafından yaratılmış Bruce Lee klonları vardı. The Dragon Lives Again filminde ise Bruce Lee cehennemde Dracula ve James Bond’la dövüşüyordu.

Bruceploitation türü Jackie Chan’ın Hong Kong aksiyon sinemasında popüler olmasıyla son bulur. Snake in the Eagle’s Shadow ve Drunken Master gibi komedi,kung-fu filmlerinin gişede iş yapmasıyla Uzakdoğu’da komedi, kung-fu filmleri furyası başlar. Ayrıca Shaw Bros kardeşlerin 70’lerin sonunda Five Deadly Venoms tarzı filmlere ağırlık vermesi bu türün son bulmasındaki diğer bir faktördür.

İşin ilginç yanı ise bu türün (Bruceploitation) 70’lerin sonunda Uzakdoğu’da etkisini kaybetmesine karşın Amerika’ da 80’lerde bazı kung-fu filmlerinde Bruce Lee klonları karşımıza çıktı: Force-Five, No Retreat, No Surrender ve The Last Dragon.

Bruce Li
